In this computer age, handwriting is becoming a lost art. I am ashamed to say this, but I’ve been out of school for so many years, and I haven’t been able to write in cursive for years. Also, I’ve been behind a computer for so many years now without having to do any writing.
I rarely actually write anything down anymore on paper, and when I do, I really struggle. It’s not because I’ve forgotten how to write, but it’s just that I’m so used to typing so fast, that I try and write at that same speed, and that usually results in illegible results. I physically can’t work a pen any longer. The mechanics of it are too much for my poor, flaccid hands to handle. Since I do the majority of my writing on a keyboard nowadays, I very rarely use a pen. Well I can still do it, but it looks terrible. Even my signature has become nothing more than a line with a couple of turtles in it.
What a disaster.
Am I the only one facing this shit?
