After weeks of recurring problems with the old SARA, there’s now a new one with a slightly new look:
Check it out!
So what’s SARA for the uninitiated?
It’s a blog aggregator service that displays feeds from blogs around Southeast Asia in 1 page, something like PPS, but allows you to see them in terms of when they write them instead of when they ping the service. It can store up to a week of feeds, so you won’t miss any of them.
How to use it?
Just goto SARA. Click on the title of the post to see excerpts of the blog post, or click on the blog name which links to the url of the blog post.
For posts that are older than the default 8 hours timespan, you can use the 16 hours, 1 day or 1 week button

Designing webpages is always difficult ‘cos you have to think how it’ll look like in the different browsers. Windows/Linux users so far have always been able to test IE/Opera/Firefox but not Safari….but now’s the chance to do it w/o having to buy a Mac for it:
Some guy will render it on his system, send a snapshot of it and display it as a picture you can download.

KOREKK!!! is now upgraded to Wordpress 2.0! Writing this to check and see if everything works like normal or not =)
All plugins seem to be working ok so far I hope…so please tell us if you see any bugs appearing anyway.
Also lotsa Malaysian bloggers posted about their experience with the new Wordpress, so here are the links if you wanna see them:

Considered as an old story for a tech news, but worth a mention.
What is interesting are new top new entries for this year. No.1 is ‘Myspace’ the latest online community portal. I can’t say that its wildly popular here with my friends, but apparently it is so in the US. Hmmm. Other interesting debutants are Ares (the P2P software), China upstart Baidu, and even wikipedia.

Finally, the truth about the shutdown of this infamous bittorrent portal.

A year ago, the popular torrent tracking site SuperNova.org was brought offline out of the blue.
And now, a year after it was shut down, the creator has finally decided to reveal what went wrong.

Welcome people! KOREKK is a new blog aggregator which allows the Malaysian blogosphere to submit blog posts they like and let other users vote to see if they like it or not.
The creators likened it to Digg - what do you think?
3. Why is this website so much like digg.com?
KOREKK’s based on digg and has a voting mechanism similar to it. Also, ‘korek’ means dig in Malay and we decided to add another k to the end of it a la digg, but that’s where the similarity ends. The coding behind the website is entirely different and the success of KOREKK depends on the contributions of all users!
