eeleen.com lives since Wednesday, 5th July of 2006. It is generously hosted by Server Freak. It is my personal portfolio and web log, where I write about my daily life, some jokes, senseless debate and other things I like. Its my place to experiment and have fun with other blogger like you.

Why “eeleen.com”?…
Why does this site have such a funny name with so many “e”? Well, “eeleen” is my name which is often a source of inspiration for me. The layout of the site was done before I came up with the name, so I thought it’d fit the girlish look of me. The entries are mostly the results of tireless web browsing with my best buddy,Mozilla Firefox

About Me
I’m a chinese girl, age 23. A very complicate girl who wanted things to be simple yet I’m not. By the way, would like to say “THANK YOU” to everyone who drop by my site here. Feel free to add me at MSN Messenger & Google Talk.

It takes more than blood to be a you. This is surely a proven fact.
I’ve seen you give your heart to me. Never once think of taking it back.
You are the one who is always there. You protects me from all harm.
You gives me the assurance that you will be my anchor in any storm.

You re a man that teaches me all the things in life I needs to know.
You are the tower of strength I leans on.
The source of love that helps me grow.
You are men that I call Daddy.

Oh, you are my shelter when it rains. You showers me
with unconditional love.
As if it were your blood in your veins.

Whenever I meet you that redefines the word daddy,
honor you with all the respect that is due.
I understand that you proudly wears this banner …
Because your heart is big enough for me.

It’s sad but true that not all everyone understand.
It takes more than blood to be you.
Someday if I wake up to my empty life.
I shall miss what I could have had.

To those who will never be a you. No matter what they say or do.
It takes more than blood to possess that title…
And it’s only found in a man like you.

Happy Father’s Day Dad…

I received this particular Forward Email this morning, and these photos has make me feel sad, give me your comment on this… =(

Photo 1: Together, through Warm and Cold

(Photographer: An Hejie. Market Place, Town of Chifeng, Inner Mongolia)

Beyond the northern (Inner Mongolia) frontier, spring has arrived but the
cold weather lingered on. Snow fell on this April morning. Flakes danced
in the sky. A middle-aged man tended to his cart, on which sat a little
boy, wrapped up with blanket used to keep the vegetables from freezing.
>From time to time, the father would tuck at the blanket to make sure that
his son was all right. These are the words from the photographer: “Set in
the dark and shadowy background and the dancing snow flakes, the pink
puffy face of the little boy stood out in great contrast to that of the
father which was apparently shaped by the caprices of life. And life was
indeed harsh. Father and son only have each other for support. When the
father yelled out a sales pitch on top of his voice, his facial expression
was shockingly touching. One cannot help but be moved.”

Photo 2: Love

The father and his son live in an impoverished hilly area. They demand
nothing but a piece of land to call their own. Perhaps they will not have
a chance to see the outside world all their lives — they will not know
what a staircase is, they will never ride in a taxi, nor will they ever
step into a movie theater. But the truth is these are the people who offer
us everything our lives depend on, generation after generation. The heaven
and earth have nothing to repay them. Love them!

Photo 3: Grandpas’Tears

(Caption on the photo: That day, we found that we were able to attend
school. We were so happy. But grandpa cried. Do you understand? The tears
of an elderly man…) This semester has been dealt with, what about the next?

Photo 4: Amidst Rain and Wind

Your elderly mother and little children are waiting for you to come home
with the day’s wages.

Photo 5: Old Man Crying

The old man sells roast yam for a living. Because he doesn’t have a
license, his tools were confiscated and his tricycle was smashed, its
chain cut. All the old man can do is to sit there and cry. Tomorrow.

Photo 6: Mothers’Love

Mothers and their child “ren”.
This is life.

Photo 7: Coal Carrier

Wang Zhizhong worked as a coal carrier. Carrying a basket of coal
weighting 40kg (88 lb), he made his way up a 100m deep mine, and then
walked a distance of 1000m along a mountainous track. For each trip, he
made 1RMB (0.125 USD). He was 17.

Photo 8 :

Caption on the photo: That day the English teacher arrived in our village.

She taught us our very first sentence in English: “I want go to school.”

Did you hear it? It is a most heart-moving cry.

Photo 9 :

We must admit that there are people still living within the blind spot of
our society. What if you were one of them?

Photo 10 :

No rose, no diamond ring, but if this is not love, what is love?

With enthusiasm, love your life! Love the people around you!

When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look, you most likely turned your back on the world.
Be thankful for what we have. Love your life & appreciate the people around you.
Most people walk in and out of our life …… but FRIENDS leave footprints in our heart.

Err, I notice one thing. The name plate outside was named “DIRECTOR” as well…

Hmm, I’m working as a designer…

Quite cold in the room so I lower down the temperature.

My manager request me to do some design work. Been doing a few of it and that took me whole day…

Anyway, I don’t work with her. She sit upstair. Actually she told me the reason why she left.

Trying to follow the World Cup 2006 event from inside UTM is hard what with the 12am curfew and all. Lucky for us, Kim has a TV Card. Unfortunately for us, Kim, the game nut, doesn’t like football.

(11.45pm)
Ahmeng: World Cup, World Cup! Going to start already oh Kim!
Kim: Wait, let me complete my Diablo mission first.
Ahmeng: (Rips off Kim’s cd-rom and throws it off the window) WORLD CUP!!
Kim: (Rips off Ahmeng’s eyeballs from its sockets) MY GAME!!

Me, I’m not really that crazy over the whole football thingy either. I love to play football, no doubt about that, even more so when I came here to UTM. But when it comes to watching 22 millionaires running up and down a field chasing after a measly ball, well that’s an entirely different story.

(During the Germany/Costa Rica game)
Ben: I am sooooo bored. How long has it been?
Ahmeng: 60 minutes.
Kim: Aiyo, I could’ve completed 2 quests already!
Ahmeng: You typical asian gamer nerd.
Ben: I could’ve written 2 long posts on my blog already!
Ahmeng: You typical asian blogger geek.
Ben & Kim: …

People who don’t enjoy watching the World Cup are so uncool.
